Emily is very ready for going back to a bit more structure to her week as she barely even gave Colin a backward glance before she was joining in.

Day one - pre-school
After Adam's first day at school, Emily also had her first day at pre-school (although, confusingly it is called kindergarten here). We were very lucky to get Emily into the kindy as it is actually directly behind our house which means two things: 1. it is only about a 250m walk for Colin and Emily and 2. We don't have anyone peering over our back fence after 5 in the afternoon.

What an introduction to Victoria you've had! You seem to have landed really well with the kids' school and kinder...hope you are coping with the trip to the city each day. Have you had many cancelled trains? From our rural location, we certainly hope that a new operator is announced when the decision comes out sometime in the next few weeks. Thanks for email - do let us know where you are! - and hopefully we can catch up sometime soon
All the best Neil and Heather Trackbacks
